Biography
Phillippe Aumont (born January 7, 1989 in Gatineau , Quebec) is a Canadian pitcher who was drafted by the Seattle Mariners 11th overall in the 2007 Major League Baseball Draft. He is a tall pitcher at 6 Foot 7, 225 pounds and has a mid 90s fastball with late movement. He is the third earliest Canadian pick (after Adam Loewen and Jeff Francis, both picked in 2002) and the first Quebec player to be picked in the first round in MLB draft history.
