Biography
John Ellett Herrnstein (born March 31, 1938 in Hampton, Virginia) was an American professional baseball player, an outfielder, first baseman and pinch hitter in the Major Leagues from 1962–1966. He played for the Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago Cubs, and Atlanta Braves.
