Biography
Julius Andre Maurice Jones (born August 14, 1981) is an American football running back who played college football at the University of Notre Dame and is currently a member of the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League. Before signing with the Saints on October 12, 2010, Julius had stints with the Dallas Cowboys and Seattle Seahawks. He is the younger brother of Kansas City Chiefs running back Thomas Jones and in 2006 they became the first brothers to each rush for 1,000 yards in the same season. Jones' was raised in Appalachia, Virginia for a significant amount of time. He attended Powell Valley High School. Jones was originally drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the second round of the 2004 NFL Draft.
